Leading independent consulting business, Project One, has appointed James O’Sullivan as its new Chief Executive Officer. Established in 1998, Project One leads complex, business-critical change and transformation on behalf of UK and Global organisations.

After 15 years in the business, current CEO, Terry Holland, is retiring at the end of June and leaves Project One with the strongest team they’ve ever had.

This succession has been three years in the making and ensures they stay true to their vision of remaining a leading, independent consulting business.

James has a 25-year career in consulting leadership and the delivery of large-scale change and transformation. Having joined Project One in 2014, he has been a key member of their Board and Senior Leadership Team over the past eight years.

James has already played a central role in driving the growth of Project One through his leadership of their customer facing teams and as a director and owner.

James said, “I’m extremely proud to be leading Project One through its next phase and into its 25th anniversary in 2023. We will remain independent and continue to thrive and grow, focussed on delivery excellence in change and transformation for our valued and world-class customers.”

Project One has seen continual growth year-on-year and has been listed by the Financial Times as one of the UK’s Top-20 leading management consultancies.
