Bringing climate change and sustainability commitments together
The Corporate Centre developed a cross-division Carbon Emissions and Greenhouse Gas reduction strategy. The implementation of this strategy was reliant upon the leadership and resourcing from multiple divisions. In isolation, each division drafted both detailed implementation plans, and wide-ranging capability development plans aimed at equipping the organisation with the skills required to sustain year-on-year Carbon Emissions and Greenhouse Gas reduction activity. All this was done alongside the divisions delivering to existing customer contractual commitments and expectations.
Using our change and transformation experience to move from strategy to reality
At this point, Project One was engaged to bring the strategy and plans together. We ensured that a structured approach was taken to inform, engage, support, facilitate and drive the actions and tasks required to deliver lasting change that meet climate change and sustainability obligations. We then built on this, working with the business to structure the enterprise-wide change and transformation programme to deliver the Carbon reduction strategy.
Our customer chose to work with us as they were seeking senior level, experienced change and transformation experts. They knew we were able to cut through the complexity to establish structure, governance and organisation, which in turn would drive tangible delivery and the outcomes they needed. The combination of our consultant’s expert knowledge of climate change and sustainability and our experience of transformation enabled our team to consult, confirm and bring together disparate thinking.
