Emma-Jayne Enright

Director of Finance

I started my finance career in an accountancy practice where I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2003. After qualification I wanted to change from being an external advisor to being fully involved within a business, so I left practice to take up the first of several industry roles. I have wide-ranging experience, from listed blue-chip corporates to entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses across various sectors, particularly within financial services and property. I am accomplished in all aspects of financial reporting, payroll, business taxes and enjoy working with our external stakeholders. A key part of my role is maintaining the profitability of the business, while making sure we invest in the right areas to ensure the long-term success of the business. I have a very enjoyable and wide-ranging role in Project One, leading the Finance Team and Business Support Team to cover all financial, IT and facilities related activity.

What makes Project One special to me

I joined Project One in 2017 and it has given me a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow and progress my career. Project One supported me through my part-time MBA with Manchester Business School, which I completed in 2022. Being on the Board of Directors gives me a wider input into the business and has allowed me to expand my responsibilities. I like working for a small, friendly and intelligent organisation where everybody counts.
