No. 42 Sunday Times Top 100
In February 2016, Project One were recognised, for the fourth consecutive time, by Best Companies and the Sunday Times as one of the UK’s ‘Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work For’, ranking at number 42 (out of 1336 entrants) in the Sunday Times Top 100 list and maintaining a 3 star accreditation from Best Companies.
According to the Sunday Times, people working for Best Companies like Project One told them they believe they work in dynamic and fulfilling places to work, where their contribution is valued and makes a difference.
Managing Director, Ian Hellens, said, “At Project One, our culture and values are what sets us apart and we are so proud to have been named one of the Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work For; and for the fourth consecutive time. We are always striving to be the best company we can for our clients and our team and we will use the survey results from this year to help us continue to do so.”
The list ranks Britain’s best companies to work for based a number of criteria including, Leadership, Wellbeing, Giving back to the community, Personal growth, My manager, My company, My team and Fair deal on pay and benefits.
Best Companies – Our View
We are thrilled to have maintained our 3 star accreditation from Best Companies for 2016. This is the highest accreditation available and indicates that the Project One team’s engagement is rated as ‘extraordinary’.
The accreditation is based on employees’ responses to questions within the Best Companies survey. This ‘Michelin style’, elite accreditation system recognises organisations by Star Status and this year just 165 organisations out of 1336 applicants achieved the top 3 Star Status; so this really is something to be very proud of!
This accreditation is important because it helps Project One to attract the highest calibre of talent to support clients in the execution of their business strategy; and provides the opportunity to receive honest feedback from the team that can help us to continuously improve the company. We will continue to enter the survey every three years in order to get the most up to date team feedback and ensure we can implement any changes and improvements before the next survey takes place.
See “What our team says” for why they think Project One is a great place to work.
European Business Awards
We are delighted to have been named a National Champion for the UK in ‘The ELITE Award for Growth Strategy of the Year’ at the European Business Awards 2015/16.
Out of 32,000 submissions this year there were only 670 winners across 33 countries named as National Champions, so this is proud achievement for Project One.
Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards, said, “Congratulations to Project One and all the companies that have been selected to represent their country as National Champions, they play an important part in creating a stronger business community.”
Valuable Content award winners!
We are delighted to have received the sought after Valuable Content Award from our esteemed partners Sonja and Sharon at Valuable Content. They believe that great content deserves prizes, and they reward companies who consistently produce outstanding content with a Valuable Content Award. We’d like to say a massive Thank you!!
So why did we get this award? Two years ago, we embarked on our own journey of change. Although we have a team of 100+ deeply experienced consultants, doing great work for some of the UK’s best-known names, including, John Lewis Partnership, The Co-operative Group, Rolls-Royce and Virgin Media, to name a few, our brand was little known in the wider marketplace. We needed to change this.
We had to rethink our strategy, from the brand message up. Roll forward to today, and with some expert help from Valuable Content, Ultimate and the central Project One team we have new, clearer messages, a new website, a library of valuable content and the Real Change Club – a members club with over 1000 UK leaders receiving valuable and interesting content from us each month. All this leads to a greater awareness amongst existing clients and the wider market. The work is attracting inbound leads from potential clients and high calibre recruitment candidates. There’s a greater consistency and a new confidence around the firm, reflected in our recent European Business Award – Project One is national champion for the UK in the ELITE Award for Growth Strategy of the Year.
