Real change is tough. Are you ready for challenging and exciting work where you can make a real difference? We asked some of our newest team members about what attracted them to Project One, how their experience has been so far and what advice they have for anyone looking at a career at Project One.

An interview with Luke Southam, Consultant

WHAT ATTRACTED YOU TO PROJECT ONE?

Having spent nearly 14 years in one of the big consultancies, Project One appealed to me as it offered a very friendly, down to earth environment with highly skilled and experienced colleagues. Internally it is very process light allowing you to focus almost 100% on delivering value to your clients, whilst still offering large blue-chip companies to work with.

HAS IT LIVED UP TO EXPECTATIONS?

Definitely. The induction week was very slick and the owners and management team are very approachable. The variety of clients and work is great and the internal collateral is of high quality.  Partly due to a fairly flat pyramid, there are no ‘hidden agendas’ in Project One, meaning everyone is very helpful and supportive. This generates a great atmosphere to work within.

WHAT SORT OF PERSON SHOULD JOIN PROJECT ONE?

If you have enthusiasm and drive, without the arrogance, with good experience of working on large change programmes, are keen to make a real difference within big national and international clients and are not afraid to get your hands dirty, then Project One may be right for you.

An interview with Fabrice Rodrigue, Consultant

WHAT ATTRACTED YOU TO PROJECT ONE?

I was familiar with Project One having a number of ex-colleagues and friends join and tell me about the company over the years, so it had been on my radar for a while. That aspect filled me with confidence in terms of calibre of individuals that were hired by Project One. What eventually clinched it for me was the genuinely friendly and competent people I met throughout the interview process and the model Project One operates under.

HAS IT LIVED UP TO EXPECTATIONS?

The Account Directors took it upon themselves to find the ‘right’ first opportunity and showed a lot of care and consideration along the way. There is genuine concern and appetite to make individuals successful and thrive, it’s a very nurturing environment.

WHAT SORT OF PERSON SHOULD JOIN PROJECT ONE?

Project One suits individuals that have a long delivery track record as most, if not all, colleagues have a considerable top tier consulting or big 4 background. It will suit independent, experienced and personable individuals who will genuinely thrive in complex transformation programmes, who enjoy challenging client settings and who are fiercely self-reliant.

An interview with Steve Bass, Consultant

WHAT ATTRACTED YOU TO PROJECT ONE?

I was attracted to Project One by their reputation and people. Throughout the interview process I met some really experienced and highly motivated individuals who worked collectively as a team. The approach of Project One matched my career goals, that is to deliver great work for great clients within a highly-experienced team that values individual contributions.

HAS IT LIVED UP TO EXPECTATIONS?

Yes. I have worked with one client so far in a small team. I have engaged with the wider team on several occasions and was very impressed with the annual gathering where we shared plans, views and provided our input to the way the business runs.

WHAT SORT OF PERSON SHOULD JOIN PROJECT ONE?

People that have deep experience, can work alone or as part of small teams, and who are not afraid of hard work. Change professionals in short.
