I am a Programme Manager/Director with over 25 years’ experience leading complex, technology-enabled business change initiatives. I have been fortunate to work with several large, blue-chip clients spanning a range of industries and countries across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and US. A good example would be the mobile money solutions I’ve helped to deliver in Africa that have transformed how millions of ‘unbanked’ people go about their daily business. I have a particular interest in programme governance and start-up.
Why I joined Project One
When I started my career at one of the (then) “Big Six” firms I took on a belief that I still live by and consider to be the golden rule for consulting: “Do what’s right for the client – always”. As I progressed to more senior, and eventually executive, positions I encountered other agendas, sometimes even formal objectives, that made me uneasy because I felt they were not always entirely congruent with that fundamental principle. Project One is refreshingly different. My success at Project One rests entirely with me putting my client’s interests at the heart of everything we do. I’m very comfortable with that.
