I joined Project One in November 2014 having started off life (admittedly quite a long time ago!) as an accountant working for Shell in a variety of operational Finance roles (which included living in Oman and Thailand for a total of eight years). I then moved into consultancy roles, mainly in ERP project management for Shell locations worldwide. In order to broaden my range of consultancy experience, I joined Deloitte’s and managed projects for a diverse mix of clients ranging from Christie’s to Electrolux. The next spell in my career saw me join the Telecoms industry and undertake a variety of roles including Operational I.T roles, managing a company- wide three year Outsourcing programme, and project managing the Vodafone 4G UK network roll out
WHY I JOINED PROJECT ONE
I joined Project One because I wanted to return to the consultancy world to work with varied clients, in different industries and have some new and exciting challenges – if I look at the broad span of assignments that my colleagues are undertaking, these criteria are definitely met. I also wanted to be part of an organisation that is both small enough in size to have a personal feel to it but which has a proven track record, with a great client base of FTSE 100 companies.
