An evening with William Hague

In November 2015, Project One welcomed 33 business leaders to an Executive Dinner with an intimate and relaxed atmosphere at the historic One Whitehall Place in London.

Our speaker on this occasion was The Right Honourable William Hague, who shared his perspective on the impact of uncertainty in the world and his many experiences from a distinguished career.  He is described by Hilary Clinton as “the David Beckham of toasting” and he did not disappoint!  William was outstanding and our guests experienced a range of emotions from crying with laughter to reflecting on life and death hostage situations.

Guests took the opportunity to meet people from other ambitious organisations, within and across sectors, discovering that they face many similar business challenges.

Previous events have hosted speakers such as Robert Peston, Jeremy Paxman, Nick Robinson, Baroness Eliza Manningham-Buller, Andrew Neill and former President of Virgin Galactic, Will Whitehorn, all of whom have shared fascinating insights into their world.

We were proud to welcomes guests from many of the UK’s well-known organisations including, Aspen Insurance, AstraZeneca, Aviva, easyJet, EE, E.ON, FIS, Hampden & Co, Harrods, HomeServe, JLT Employee Benefits, Kier Construction, Nationwide, Old Mutual Group, Santander, Shop Direct, The Co-operative Group, United Utilities, Babcock International, BAE Systems, Johnson Matthey and Visa Europe.
